Yup. I realize that I did not post this blog yesterday but it is still about what I did yesterday. So it still counts. Don't get fussy with me. I'm the one writing these things and it just so happened that I got tired from walking around and making fajitas.
Who knew that making fajitas would be so tiring. I mean it was pretty easy but I think it was the fact it was relatively chewy leftover steak meat that I used that made it tiring. You know, because of the whole chewing thing. They were pretty good for first time attempt at fajitas. At least I'm fairly certain I've never made fajitas before. I should have taken a picture of them but we were too busy stuffing our faces to take any. Plus our hands got covered in the sauce because I only had little tortillas.
I found a pattern for what I'm going to do for my K-9 cosplay. It's going to be a dress for the outfit. I didn't know my measurements so I just bought the pattern and I'll have to take mine here at home before I go back to find material. I saw some shiny grey material when I was in there but we shall see if enough is left for the dress. It didn't seem like there was much left in there when I looked at it, but here's hoping. I'm still trying to figure out what to do as far as the collar is concerned but I'm working on it.
P.S. To anyone who didn't spend time outside yesterday: you crazy. It was gorgeous. I enjoyed some time in the shade of my tree in the backyard with Chad and it was wonderful. Charli however was as dumb as ever and decided to lay in the sun on the hot brick by the gate. I had to carry her over and put her in the shade with us so she didn't burn up. Silly dog.
Speaking of Charli. I found some toys that were hiding in a suitcase in the closet and one of them was a chicken leg shaped/flavored bone that I gave her and she loves that thing. She is just happy as a clam. Also, less annoying because she is distracted by the chicken wing.
Goodnight!
UPDATE: For some reason the bottom half of this post is highlighted in white and I have no idea why... So, yeah that wasn't my choice and I don't know how to fix it.
