Today was a day full of mostly gardening for my family and I. Well there was also a few odds and ends that we had to complete, like spraying beneath my house for bugs. That was super nice of my Dad to crawl around in my crawl space and get rid of those bugs. I don't want to have to go down there myself, but I will probably have to do it again when they move in for the winter; bugs that is. Not my parents.
My house is looking snazzy and I've got a little 'farm' to keep me busy in my backyard. My fire pit worked nicely tonight for smores once we could get dry enough sticks and leaves going. Actually we had to add some chunks of cardboard because the branches we cut down are still too fresh.
I'm gonna show you a bunch of pictures of my yard and such. Enjoy. Oh wait. Firstly, my dog liked the garden. She was actually quite brave and walked out onto the dug up dirt. I was pretty impressed. She does not take kindly to fireworks sounds though when she is outside. The last few nights when walking her people have fired fireworks and scared her. July 4th should be interesting.
Isn't my garden snazzy?! It's bigger that I expected but I hope just some of it takes since I planted it so late in the year.
My fire pit in action.
Cup hoooooooooks! So exciting! Super pumped! : )
This is my favorite picture of Charli that I took. I tried to make her wear my wide brimmed hat. She surprisingly stood still while I got it positioned. Such a cute little butt monkey.
Now I am watching Demolition Man with my Dad and Brother who is struggling to stay awake and as am I. I've been using knitting to keep me awake. Got lots to knit for the scarf I'm working on.
Goodnight!
