Dinner for breakfast.  That's how I roll.

I got a roast at Cub foods after work (aka this morning) and decided to make it in the crock pot.  So I cut up some tasty carrots, potatoes, and onions and threw them into the crock pot with the meat.  I had to cut off some of the meat and freeze it because it wouldn't fit in the pot if I didn't.  I think it was a success but I feel like the meat could have been juicer.  Maybe I should have tenderized it?  I'm just now trying to develop my more advanced cooking skills. Haha.  You can really only live off of ramen and frozen meals for so long, right?  I don't want to be the kind of woman who can't cook.

With the roast we had romaine lettuce with a poppyseed dressing.  Some tasty big rolls we dipped into some olive oil that had been seasoned.  My mother gave me a gift for Christmas that had four trays (seen in photo) and four seasonings (far right of photo).  You add the seasoning to olive oil and you dip your bread in it.  I'm pretty sure I've had this at a restaurant before.  It was pretty tasty.  I think the Tuscany blend was my favorite out of the four, but I'm not sure.  Made me feel all fancy with my olive oil dips.

Besides having tasty food today I also got to see my friend Sarah.  (Who I think I need to see at least once a month if we weren't both so busy.)  Watched some Jersey Shore with her and Kelsey.  I don't even think I need to say anything about that show. Haha.

I ended my evening with seeing The Green Hornet 3D at midnight.  Partly because we decided to see a movie late in the evening and not much for options left after ten pm.  It was one of those movies I really don't understand why they made it in 3D because there was hardly anything 3D about it.  Oh well.  Just charging us more money for movies that are "3D" and not really necessary.  Working the system I guess. Not really into 3D movies in the first place.

Oh well.  Still a great day anyway. Oh and Happy 18th birthday to my little brother! (I'm so old now!)
